Our Mission

Prospect Dugout was founded to help high school athletes gain exposure for college. Since then, it has grown into a media-driven platform built to serve players, teams, instructors, and organizations by providing real visibility, verified context, and long-term digital presence — while also promoting brands, events, and meaningful baseball content.

We have helped over 100 players sign professional contracts through Prospect Dugout professional tryouts and have helped thousands of athletes gain digital exposure to advance their careers. Our founding team experienced firsthand how unclear, fragmented, and event-dependent the path from high school to college — and beyond — can be.

That experience drives our mission: to clarify the path and give the next generation of players more control over their journey.

Today, Prospect Dugout is more than exposure at events — it is a connected ecosystem. Through player profiles, media, testing data, and scouting context, the platform fills the gaps that exist when players are not at a showcase, tournament, or tryout. Instead of relying solely on third-party platforms or hoping the right person is watching on the right weekend, players and teams have a permanent home where their development, video, and performance live and evolve over time.

The Prospect Dugout Affiliate Network extends that mission to teams and organizations. Affiliates gain the ability to own and control exposure for their players rather than outsourcing it. Teams become identifiable beyond a text-based roster, players gain context through leaderboards and verified metrics, and standout performances — whether at Prospect Dugout events or a team’s own tournaments — are amplified through a national platform. This creates consistency, accountability, and visibility for both players and programs.

The Prospect Dugout platform increases opportunity at every level of the game through tryouts, pickup games, showcases, recruiting tools, digital scouting, and media coverage. As current professional coaches, the founding PD team uses digital media and data daily to discover overlooked talent and evaluate free agents.
